Why are you seeking office?

I want to play an active role in the future of our community, particularly in light of the opportunity we have regarding The Hartford property.  I also made a commitment to myself that I would focus my volunteer time on Simsbury after my involvement with a Hartford based non-profit was over.

What experience do you bring to the table?

I was an active member of the board of directors of a Hartford based non-profit agency that provided financial education, asset building and work force development services to low and moderate-income residents.  I served on the board for 7 years, the last three as president.

What do you feel is the town's most pressing issue?

The sale/development of The Hartford property.

What do you love most about town?

The people, the open spaces and the beautiful vistas.

What do you like to do for fun?

I enjoy watching my children play sports – previously Little League, Travel Soccer and now high school sports.  I also take advantage of our beautiful Farmington Canal Heritage Trail where I bike, run and in-line skate.
