Protect Your Car This Winter

Don't forget about your car in the cold. Make sure it's winterized and covered with a great Connecticut Car Insurance policy!

Winter can be rough on all of us. Anyone else spent the last week sniffling and coughing at their desk? As much as it takes its toll on us, it also can really do some damage to our vehicles. This is why it’s important to do things like get snow tires for your vehicle and not let your car operate on an almost empty tank in the cold weather. Details like that can help keep your car in better shape for the chilly winter months, especially with temperatures as low as they have been. Winter can also mean a dangerous time for you and your vehicle depending on the road conditions.

Snow and ice can make for slippery roads and barely any visibility. While we can all try our best to be safe drivers, we cannot control the way others drive, especially in harsh conditions. If something were to happen to you or your vehicle in the snow or black ice this winter, would you have the coverage you need? Often times with car insurance you don’t know how much coverage you have until after an accident. This winter, be proactive and ask your agent about your coverage. What kind of liability might you need in case of an accident? What about collision coverage? As we always remind you, every policy is different and the best way to be sure you have enough coverage is to talk with your insurance agent!
