5K ROAD RACE and Non-competitive Health Walk

PRESS RELEASE

22nd  ANNUAL LOBSTER LOOP 5K ROAD RACE and
WALK - TO BE HELD SUNDAY, AUGUST 18, 2013 IN CANTON

The 22nd  annual Lobster Loop 5k
road race and non-competitive health walk
will be held on the Canton Town
Green, at the corner of Route 44 and Dowd Avenue on Sunday, August 18, 2013. This event is hosted by the Canton Middle
School PTO and all fund raising proceeds will benefit technology updates for
the Middle School. Especially now, as states are cutting budgets, the Canton
PTO fills in gaps for students that just wouldn’t be available through any
other source.   Improve your health, enjoy the company of
friends and neighbors, all while helping students get a richer learning
experience.
  Registration will
open at 7:30 am; the race will start at 8:30 am sharp.

The traditional Gold, Silver & Bronze medals for 18 categories
will be awarded, along with four 1st place Trophies.  All participants pre-registered by August 3rd (either on-line at www.Active.com or postmarked by 8/3)
will receive a FREE Lobster Loop T-shirt
the day of the race.

The pre-registration fee of $20 is available through August 14th
either on-line at www.Active.com or
through mail-in registration.  Mail-in
registration forms can be obtained on-line at www.cantonschools.org, under
Canton Middle School. Forms are also available at the Canton Middle School
Office.  Registration fee day of
the race is $25.
