A Thanksgiving Event

On November 13, 2013, Simsbury Residents Rob and Dawn

Brenner will host an Evening of Thanksgiving at Eno Memorial Hall in Simsbury,
CT at 7:00pm.  Rob was diagnosed on
November 10, 2012 with a brain tumor and spent 198 days in four different
hospitals and rehabilitation centers and endured 8 surgeries before returning

home to his wife and two young children Eli (10) and Charlotte (8)in May of 2013.  Rob formally worked with international
recording artist Jonas Brothers, Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake and Mary J.
Blige before deciding to change careers to spend more time with his
family.  While searching for employment that allowed him to remain close to home, Rob was experiencing vertigo which later was diagnosed as  a brain tumor.  When diagnosed, he was immediately was admitted to Hartford Hospital.
Dawn, his wife, has been keeping a Facebook journal since his diagnosis on a "Team Brenner" page, which
has reached responders as far as Brazil, Italy, Germany and Australia.  Although The family continues to struggle with medical and financial
hardships,  the Brenners remain positive and optimistic  It is their wish to use this experience to promote kindness and express gratitude to all that have helped during this horrific journey.  This is a free event.
