High blood pressure has no symptoms, and if left untreated, can cause serious damage to many of the body's organs and may lead to stroke, heart attack, or kidney damage.

The Farmington Valley VNA is sponsoring blood pressure screneings for individuals in general, those at risk, and anyone currently taking medication, to see if their blood pressure is within normal range. A Registered Nurse will check yoru blood pressure, record the reading on a convenient wallet-size card, and answer health questions on medications, diet, and exercise.

For more information, call the Farmington Valley VNA Community Programs department at 860.653.5514.
