The annual Simsbury Chamber of Commerce Business Leaders Breakfast is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 1, 2013, from 7:30-9:30 a.m., at Belle Terrace at Avon Old Farms, Avon.

Aetna will again be "Presenting Sponsor" of the event.

Dave Power, President of Power Strategy, Inc., is guest speaker and will share his ideas on "Innovation:  Inspired by Customers."

Power spoke at last year's breakfast, and is back by popular demand, according to Chamber President Kay Green.

"Dave is an inspirational speaker who can stimulate, educate and motivate fresh thinking," she said. "This event will also be an opportunity for some excellent networking."

For more than 26 years, Power has guided companies - large and small - in growth strategy, alignment and execution, as an operating executive, board member and advisor.  He also teaches at the Harvard Business School Extension.

Tickets are $30 per person and include a buffet breakfast. Chamber members and the general public are invited to bring clients, colleagues and friends.

Opportunities to become an "Event Sponsor" are still available and include a table of eight or 10.

"Event Sponsors" to date include: APW Wealth Advisors, LLC; Prime Touch Services; Robert Hensley & Associates, LLC; Simsbury Bank and SimsburyPatch.com.

For more information or to register, go to www.simsburycoc.org and click on Chamber Event Calendar.

The Simsbury Chamber of Commerce has more than 400 members from Simsbury and beyond and has been named the 12th largest Chamber in the Greater Hartford Region by the Hartford Business Journal.
