FREE TEEN PROGRAM - FORCES IN MOTION DANCE CLASS

Thursday, July 24 & 31 and August 7 & 14, 6:00-7:30 PM

This 4-session class is geared towards anybody who likes to move in all different ways. You can be anywhere from a basketball player to a gymnast to a couch potato! We will be using the body in ways you may have never moved before, with and without movement partners. You may have seen how science displays different forces but have you ever experienced a whole body motion using inertia, friction, opposition, and gravity? Come and check out a fun, interactive, engaging movement class this summer!

Jessica Sikora will be your instructor. Jessica has been dancing since she was 4 years old, and dance continues to be one of her greatest passions. She has taught dance to teens at the Simsbury Public Library for several years and is a competitive ballroom dancer, for which she has won numerous awards. Jess graduated from Springfield College with degrees in Psychology and Rehabilitation and is currently working in the Simsbury Public School system. She loves working with people of all ages! Register at 860-658-7663 x2200 or on the teen page at www.simsburylibrary.info. Free! FOR TEENS ENTERING GRADES 7-12.
