GENEALOGY: GETTING ORGANIZED AND USING LIBRARY SOURCES

Are you curious about your family history? In this 2-part class at the Simsbury Public Library, Reference Librarian Celia Ann Roberts will show you how to make the most of the genealogy sources that are available to you right now.  Learn how databases Ancestry, FamilySearch and Google searches can help you organize what you have and what you will find so you can make your information ready for the next generation. These 2 classes will be held on Wednesday, August 6 and 13, 2014 from 6:30 to 8:30 PM in the Library’s Technology Learning Center. Walk-ins are welcome, but space is limited to 20 seats with priority given to those who pre-register at 860-658-7663 x2200 or www.simsburylibrary.info (click on calendar). Free and open to all.
