Piano Recital with Anastasia Seifetdinova and Liana Paniyeva

Featuring Anastasia Seifetdinova and Liana
Paniyeva, piano, prizewinners of International Piano Competitions. 

Program: solo piano works
by J.S.Bach, Beethoven, Schumann,
and Liszt.

Born in Kiev, Ukraine, Anastasia Seifetdinova gave
her first solo recital at the age of eleven. Ms. Seifetdinova is a
graduate of the Hochschule für Musik Würzburg, Germany, and holds a
Master’s degree from The Hartt School at the University of Hartford
where she is pursuing her doctoral degree and serving as an Adjunct
Faculty in Piano and Chamber Music.



Ms. Seifetdinova has received numerous awards, played at Carnegie Hall
and in 2006 recorded the complete works for piano and orchestra by
Balakirev with the Russian Philharmonic Orchestra for NAXOS records. Her
career continues with numerous appearances as a soloist both in
concertos with orchestra, in solo recitals, and in chamber music
concerts in Ukraine, Germany, Macedonia, Italy, Switzerland, France,
Russia, USA, and Japan. Recent engagements included a performance at the
Bolshoi Hall of Moscow Conservatory as well as solo appearances with
orchestras in the United States and Germany featuring concerti by
Prokofieff, Mozart, Grieg, Beethoven, Tchaikovsky, Shostakovich, and
Stravinsky.



In 2013, Anastasia was granted the Extraordinary Abilities in the Arts
permanent US residence, as one of a small percentage of those who have
risen to the top in their field of endeavor.


Liana Paniyeva
is currently pursuing Artist Diploma at The Hartt School,
University of Hartford.



Liana began her musical studies at the Special Music
School in Donetsk, Ukraine. In 2007 she graduated from Donetsk Music
Academy (Ukraine).

Her prizes include the Third Prize at the International
Competitions in Memory of E. Gilels (2002, Odessa, Ukraine), the
First Prize at the International Competition in Memory of Prokofiev
(2002, Ukraine), and the Second Prize of the International
Competition in Memory of A. Karamanov. In 2008 she was the winner of
“The Voice of Music” Piano competition in Israel, and received
the First Prize of "Music World" International Competition
in Italy. In 2012 Liana was awarded numerous prizes in the United
States: Winner of the American Protégé International Music Talent
Competition, Grand Prize of Metropolitan International Piano
Competition, Winner of AFAF Golden Era Of Romantic Music
International Competition and others.



Liana performed at international festivals in Norway,
Hungary, Syria, Italy, Israel, and during season 2012-13 performed
three times at Carnegie Hall in New York City.
