Plant Disease Management Workshop

Join the Northeast
Organic Farming Association of Connecticut (CT NOFA)

and Joan Allen, the Assistant Extension Educator at UConn's Home and Garden
Education Center
, at the Community Farm of Simsbury for
an evening workshop on Plant Disease Management. Joan will be teaching about
pest and disease identification and how to organically manage your plants and
vegetables in the late summer months. Following an indoor presentation, attendees
will go out and see some examples of diseases in the field. The workshop is for gardeners, farmers
of all levels or anyone interested in keeping their plants healthy.





 



The workshop is made possible by a grant from the National
Institute for Food and Agriculture through the USDA Beginning Farmer and
Rancher Development Program. Workshop registration is $20 for members and $30
for non-members.  Please register in
