Simsbury Land Trust's "Dirty Boots Kids Club" Hosts Tulmeadow Farm Walk

Boys and girls, ages 12 and under, are

invited to a special Simsbury Land Trust “Tulmeadow Farm Walk” this Saturday,
September 21 at 10:30 a.m. Children will learn all about cows who provide us with both milk and meat. They will learn about

the parts of a cow, how ice cream is made, and then will make fresh butter. Participants
then will take a hike in the Tulmeadow Woodlot to search for signs of how the
woods change in the fall.

This is a Simsbury Land Trust “Dirty Boots Kids Club” event – all

children must be accompanied by an adult.  The
program is free for children of Simsbury Land Trust-member families, thanks to
a generous contribution from Educational Playcare. The fee for non-members is
$20 per child.

To sign up for the program call the Simsbury
Land Trust at 860-651-8773 or email amyzeiner@aol.com by September 19.
