SIMSBURY VFW
TO HOLD OPEN HOUSE AT SIMSBURY PUBLIC LIBRARY
Simsbury VFW (Veterans of Foreign Wars) Post 1926 will hold
an open house at the Simsbury Public Library lower level on Wednesday October
23rd from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. Members of the active military, veterans and family members are welcome to attend to meet with members of the VFW to learn of the
goals of the VFW and how the VFW can assist veterans and their families with
claims and Veterans benefits. Sean
Kimball, Simsbury Deputy Director of Administrative Services, and Sherri Vogt,
5th district aid from the office of Congresswoman Elizabeth Estes,
will attend. Sean is Simsbury’s Veterans
Service Contact Person and he will be on hand to explain this new role and Sean
and Sherri will answer any questions about this new role and how it is being
administered state wide. This will also be an opportunity for veterans to join
the VFW and/or the American Legion.
Refreshments will be served.
