Stay No Matter What Happens!

In this fun workshop you will work on teaching your dog to do a solid stay no matter what happens!  We will work on teaching stay in the face of distractions, at a distance and for longer amounts of time.

Through the use of fun exercises and games, your dog will have better understanding of what stay means.  In addition you will work on teaching your dog not to move until you release him/her from the stay

Stay is useful in so many situations such as

• Stay while you answer the door,
• Stay while you put away groceries
• Do a relaxed down stay while you have coffee at an outside cafe
• Stay on a walk when you stop to pick up after your dog or pick up a dropped item.
• Stay to keep your dog from rushing other people or dogs.

For this fast paced class, bring some of your dog’s favorite toys and treats for rewards and a long line at least 15 feet long for distance work.
