Watkinson School to present A Midsummer Night's Dream

A Midsummer Night's Dream is one of Shakespeare's most accessible and wacky comedies about young love.  Watkinson School's production is set in the present day in a beach town near a tropical forest of brilliantly colored magic flowers--made of swim noodles.  It's a tropical fever dream of a play, celebrating marriage and the trials we undergo en route to true love and deepening self-knowledge.     Shows are at 7:30 on February 21st and 22nd in the Foisie Amphitheater at Watkinson School, 180 Bloomfield Avenue, in Hartford.  Tickets are available at the door.
Watkinson School is Hartford's oldest independent day school serving students in grades 6-12/PG
