On Sunday December 11th, the Simsbury Junior Woman's Club is sponsoring its Second Annual Simsbury Luminary Night from 5 to 8 pm. This year all proceeds will benefit the Simsbury Department of Social Services, specifically the fuel assistance and food programs. Simsbury Juniors invites everyone to "Light Up the Night" by placing luminary candles sold by the club along their driveways and walkways in a non-denominational community celebration of the season.
To order luminary kits or to make a donation, please visit simsburyjuniors.org. Kits cost $15 and consist of the materials to make ten luminaries. Kits will be delivered to homes the week of December 5 - December 10 so please order soon!
