Simsbury Newcomers Club Holds Activity Sign-Up and Membership Drive Open House

The Simsbury Newcomers Club (SNC) will hold an Open House for current and prospective members at the Simsbury Public Library on Thursday, September 15, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and on Friday, September 16, from 10:30 am to 12:30 p.m. Both sessions are at the Simsbury Public Library Program Room, at 725 Hopmeadow St.

Those interested can attend any of these sessions and learn more about the SNC and its daytime and evening activities and interest groups, including paddle tennis, men’s night out, toddlers’ playgroup, bridge, bunko, pinochle, a walking group, book discussions, and needlework group.

Social activities are also held throughout the year, including potluck dinners, wine & women and couples gatherings, holiday parties, and charity fundraisers.

The SNC is a Simsbury, CT non-profit organization of more than 130 families, which is open to residents of Simsbury and of surrounding towns, whether they are newcomers to town or long-time residents. The organization provides an opportunity to expand your circle of friends and to make a difference in the community.
