The Simsbury
Newcomers Club will hold an Open House for current and prospective members in
the large program room at the Simsbury Public Library on Monday night,
September 10th, 5:30pm
-7:30pm and on Tuesday morning, September 11th, 10:30am-12:30pm.
Those interested can
attend either of these sessions and learn more about the Simsbury Newcomers
Club and its daytime and evening activities and interest groups, including
paddle tennis, men’s night out, toddlers’ playgroup, bridge, bunko, pinochle, a
walking group, book discussions, and needlework group. Social activities are also held throughout
the year, including potluck dinners, wine & women, couples groups, holiday
parties, and charity fundraisers.
The Simsbury
Newcomers Club is a non-profit organization of more than 130 families, which is
open to residents of Simsbury and of surrounding towns, whether they are
newcomers to town or long-time residents.
The organization provides an opportunity to expand your circle of
friends and make a difference in the community.
