Still Time for Holiday Shopping at Rosedale Farms

Whether it's a tree, a bottle of wine or a myriad of festive offerings, the Holiday Farm at Rosedale Farms and Vineyards may have what you're looking for.

This year, CRS Landscape and Excavation is running the holiday farm stand.

Ten percent of tree, wreath and wine sales are being donated to Vie for the Kids and Rebuilding Together.

The Balsam and Fraser Firs from New Hampshire have sold well but there are some trees and wreaths available. Based on availability, tree prices range from $35 to $150. Free local delivery within 15 miles is available.

Inside shoppers can find Rosedale's own wines as well as festive and local and regionally produced products. There's even free popcorn and other treats for the kids.

Rosedale memberships are also available.

CRS owner Jeremy Vearil, said he wanted the farm store to be much like the one he grew up with in South Glastonbury.

"It's been a good year," he said. "It really exceeded my original expectations."

Through Christmas Eve store hours are noon to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 10 a..m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The farm is at 25 East Weatogue St., Simsbury.
