Celebrating the Metro Hartford Alliance in Simsbury!

“A Conversation with Simsbury's Oz Griebel”

I was delighted to welcome Simsbury’s very own Oz Griebel, President & CEO of the Metro Hartford Alliance, as my special guest on this month’s episode of my SCTV talk show, “Office Hours with Deputy First Selectman John K. Hampton.”

The Metro Hartford Alliance is the leading business and economic development organization in the region.

More than 1,000 businesses, municipalities and organizations are among their membership ranks.

They support pro-growth legislation, help local companies expand, assist start-ups, encourage government investment in key infrastructure assets, develop programs for young professionals, and recruit companies from other states to create a presence in the region.

Their mission is to compete aggressively and successfully for jobs, talent and capital for the Hartford region while ensuring that the region is positioned as a premier location for people to live, work and raise families

I enjoyed my conversation with Mr. Griebel, a dynamic leader and a driving force for economic growth and revitalization for the State of Connecticut.

As Simsbury’s next State Representative, I look forward to working with organizations like the Metro Hartford Alliance to create jobs and make our state more business-friendly.

To learn more, please tune in to this special program on SCTV.

Again, I agree with Mr. Hampton. I have been an active member and my business has been a long-term Strategic Partner of the MetroHartford Alliance helping to shape their mission and pro-growth strategy. As past chairman of the Chambers Benefit Center, representing the 26 towns in the Hartford Region who met monthly at the MetroHartford Alliance during my term, we have been planning long term strategy for business growth, legislative initiatives and shaping the agenda for a supportive strategy for the business community during the current challenging times. I support Mr. Hampton's current interest in jobs and the initiatives of the MetroHartford Alliance.

These remarks agreeing with John Hampton are just an other example that their is no difference between the democratic or republican party candidates they both are self servicing, love to tax and spend the people of Simsbury money I suggest that John Hampton get a job and stop riding on Oz Griebel coattails and Ms Folk find out who she is and were she is going and what political party she is and has been a member of I strongly think and in my opinion Ms Folk and the republicans now have a candidate with a conflict of interest having received federal money and as far as the Hartford Chamber it has become a paper tiger since the passing of Art lumsden and Howard Wry and why they want to take sides in political election as they have in passed and this present election, still waiting for an answer on the people and companies polluting the river and wet lands in Simsbury Ms Folk
