John Hampton~A Voice for Simsbury Students, Parents, and Teachers at the State Capitol

Making Education a Priority

It is critical that Simsbury has a State Representative that puts education first.

Please join me for a special Education Forum next Wednesday, June 27th from 7:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.  at Eno Memorial Hall.

State Representative Andrew Fleischmann, Co-Chairman of Education Committee& I will review and discuss the 2012 Education Reform Bill.

This sweeping piece of legislation makes numerous revisions and changes in education statutes and programs affecting early childhood education, school and school district operations and funding, teacher and school administrator qualifications, performance evaluation, tenure, and termination.

I am delighted to give Simsbury parents and teachers the opportunity to learn more about this comprehensive education reform law and what it means for them; I am happy to welcome Rep. Fleischmann to Simsbury and thank him for his efforts on behalf of Connecticut’s children.

The forum will include an overview of the bill with plenty of time for questions and answers.

The event is FREE. To RSVP or for more information, please contact me at 860.803.4072 or at jkhampton@hotmail.com.
