Dragonfly Discussion Set for Monday
Jay Kaplan of the Roaring Brook Nature Center will discuss their habits and habitats.
The Lower Farmington River and Salmon Brook Wild and Scenic Study Committee will be holding a open to everyone about dragonflies and their habits and habitats. Jay Kaplan is the Director of Roaring Brook Nature Center. He will offer textbook discussion on dragonfly identification and even some of the species likely to be seen Simsbury's Meadowbrook Park off Hedgehog Lane.
The discussion will be held at 7 p.m., Monday, May 14, at the Apple Barn, 60 Old Farms Road, West Simsbury. So come join the discussion, learn interesting information on dragonflies and be a part of nature.
