The second concert in the Simsbury Historical Society's "Music in the Garden" series is coming this Saturday! The seven-member band “Showtown,” a Connecticut-based group dedicated to performing the best of Motown, R&B and Soul music, will be live in the Phelps Homestead garden. Bring a picnic dinner, your family and friends, and enjoy a night of classic hits and solid gold grooves from artists such as Aretha Franklin, Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, The Temptations, Diana Ross and many more.
