Farmington Valley VNA Celebrates 15th Annual Employee Service Awards
Six members of the Farmington Valley VNA's team of caregivers were recognized for their years of tenure at the Agency's 15th Annual Service Awards Ceremony on April 8, 2014.
Incy S. Muir, Executive Director, presented the awards for 5, 10, 15, and 20 years of service and personally recognized each recipient for their individual contributions to the Farmington Valley VNA. Nicholas B. Mason, President of the Board of Directors, thanked the staff for their outstanding commitment to our clients and the compassionate care they provide. Ms. Muir and Mr. Mason both emphasized the significance of having 40 percent of staff members remain with the non-profit organization for more than five years, tenure that well surpasses industry standard.
At this year's ceremony, Registered Nurse Mary Czaikowski, Physical Therapist Denise Kidd, and Physical Therapist Elaine Leard were recognized for exceptional client care provided during their five years with the agency. Physical Therapist John Masley is among 24 percent of staff who have served Farmington Valley VNA clients for more than ten years. Homemaker Noreen Clegg has exemplified warmth and devotion to her home care clients over the last fifteen years. Dr. Leslie Lindenberg has served as the Medical Director for the Agency's Hospice Program since its inception more than twenty years ago. It was also noted that Ms. Muir will be celebrating her twenty-fifth anniversary as Executive Director in June, and Mr. Mason has served on the Agency's Board of Directors for over ten years.
