Missing beagle/basset hound

Please let us know if you have seen Ben our beagle/basset mix. He went missing Tuesday, Jan 28th. He was wearing his electric fence collar only (the battery must have died). He weighs about 30 lbs. We live in Tariffville. Someone did see him on Terry's Plain Rd by Well a Way Farm. Please call 860-218-5478. Thank you!

Tracey, try going to the granite state dog recovery website & fill out a lost dog form & send them a photo. They will create a highly visible color poster for you that you can print. They will also share online with over 35,000 fb followers. the key is getting the word out to your community as soon as possible. Good luck! I have 2 bassets, Ben will be back with you soon!

Tracey, have you done a neighborhood reverse call?
Suellan birchard February 01, 2014 at 11:16 PM
Tracet, please go to www.granitestatedogrecovery.com they will create a poster for you to print & share with over 35,000 followers on fb, you need to plaster your area with posters & track his movements by phone calls. Ask people to add you as. Contact in their phones under "lost dog" so they can call you as soon as they spot him, ask people to not chase him...my friend just recovered her dog after 19 days lost...there are also dog trackers who can help you by bringing a dog to track their scent & find his route. When you find out where he is hanging out you can leave food for him & a humane trap to trap him
