Arrests for the Week of Dec. 7-13, 2011
The following arrest information was supplied by the Simsbury Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.
On December 8, Austin R. Buckmann, 18, of 21 Woodhaven Dr., Simsbury, was charged with traveling unreasonably fast, reckless driving, operating under the influence under the age of 21, failure to drive in the proper lane, second-degree manslaughter, and second-degree manslaughter with a motor vehicle. Bond was set at $25,000 and a court date of December 22 was set. This arrest is in connection with a June car accident that claimed the life of Tommy Tanski.
On December 9, William R. Shaw, 59, of 148 Farms Village Rd., Simsbury, was charged with operating a motor vehicle with a license that is suspended or revoked. A court date of December 21 was set.
