Assault, DUI, and Larceny

The following arrest information was provided by the Simsbury Police Department. Arrests do not indicate a conviction.

Minhua Fang, 36, of Weatogue was arrested on March 11 and charged with assault and second degree harassment. Bond was set at $10,000 and a court date was set for March 12.

Jose A. Valentin, 23, of Torrington was arrested on March 11 and charged with driving under the influence and operating a vehicle with a suspended license. Bond was set at $1,000 and a court date was set for March 21.

Michael G. Birner, 47, of Simsbury was arrested on March 11 and charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license or registration. Bond was set at $500 and a court date was set for March 12.

Michael G. Birner, 47, of Simsbury was arrested on March 11 and charged with two counts of failure to appear in court. Bond was set at $100,000 for each charge and a court date was set for March 12.

Teresa Bolton, 49, of West Hartford was arrested on March 13 and charged with driving an unregistered motor vehicle, driving with a suspended license, and operating a vehicle without insurance. No bond was set and a court date was set for March 28.

Nestor Claros, 22, of East Hartford was arrested on March 13 and charged with a speeding violation.

Felix Rodriguez, 48, of Torrington was arrested on March 15 and charged with burglary and larceny. Bond was set at $100 and a court date was set for March 29.
