Burglaries Still Under Investigation

The burglaries were not related.

The recent burglaries in the areas of Old Meadow Plain Road, Holcomb Street and County Road are still under investigation by the Simsbury Police Department.

The police said these three events are not related. The burglaries took place during the day. In two instances there was forced entry and in one case a door was left unlocked.

No one was home during any of the burglaries, in which valuables such as electronics were taken.

There have been no other such incidents.

The police are asking residents to remember to adequately lock their homes, especially when nobody is home.
