Clemson Student Killed in Armed Robbery

Police seeking three suspects and a 2005 Dodge Durango

A Clemson University student is dead after an armed robbery in Central Saturday night.

Steve Gregory Grich, 23,  of 1415 Doe Ridge Lane, Fort Mill, was shot Saturday night, according to Pickens County Coroner Kandy Kelley.

Kelley said Grich, a sophmore studying Electrical Engineering, was pronounced dead at the scene.

An autopsy will be held tomorrow at Greenville Memorial Hospital, Kelley said.

The Easley Progress is reporting that the Pickens County Sheriff's office is looking for two black males and one white male in connection with the homicide.

Lt. J.B. Kelley is asking the public to look out for a vehicle believed to have been used by the suspects, a 2005 Dodge Durango 4-door with black tinted windows and five spoke aluminum wheels.

The robbery occurred Saturday night at an apartment on Smoke Rise Drive in Central.

way to go David, obviously Karen bumped her head and is infatuated with the little tin star. I got 2 tickets for no seatbelt in a week, but the only person who could have gotten hurt was me.

obviously karen knows nothing im related to the victim and her opinion is not wanted she sounds like a stuck up snob who is ridiculously judgemental and needs to find a life instead of sitting here saying worthless comments
