East Granby Man Charged For Armed Robbery at Sunrise Convenience Store
Simsbury police make arrest by strength of warrant.
Simsbury police have arrested Scott R. Berg, 40, of 16 Seymour Road Apt. 1E, East Granby in connection with an armed robbery at the Sunrise Convenience Store in Simsbury last month.
Berg was charged by warrant on Sept. 13 with first-degree robbery and sixth-degree larceny. Bond was set at $250,000 and Berg is scheduled to appear at G.A.13 in Enfield on Sept. 16, 2013.
On Aug. 22, police said the suspect conducted the robbery at knifepoint and left the 1225 Hopmeadow St. location with cash in an unknown vehicle.
