Police: Hopmeadow Street Construction in Simsbury Could Cause Delays
Morning commuters should plan to use an alternate route to and from work on Wednesday and Thursday.
The Simsbury Police Department has issued a Citizen Alert about traffic delays on Hopmeadow Street this week.
Construction on Hopmeadow Street north of Stratton Brook Road will only allow for one lane of traffic to pass by the construction site at a time. Construction will be taking place on Wednesday and Thursday (October 10-11) from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Police suggest planning an alternate route during construction hours to avoid any significant delays during your commute.
