Police Identify Man Found Dead at Base of Talcott Mountain
Trumbull man was found Saturday evening by Simsbury firefighters.
Police have identified a man found dead at the bottom of Talcott Mountain in Simsbury Saturday as Robert Bonazzo, Jr., 25, of Trumbull.
According to police, Department of Energy and Environmental Protection received a call reporting a missing man around 4 p.m. Saturday in the Talcott Mountain State Park. DEEP EnCon Police, Simsbury police and fire departments responded to search the park.
Firefighters found the man around 5 p.m. and he was pronounced dead at the scene. No foul play is suspected but the cause of death is not yet known and DEEP EnCon police are investigating.
