Police Investigating Armed Robbery at Gibbs Mobil

Officers are investigating reports of an armed robbery at the Gibbs Mobile Gas Station on Hopmeadow Street.

Police were dispatched to the station, 955 Hopmeadow St., just before 10 p.m. with reports that the station had just been robbed. Officers arrived and were told a man had entered and left with an undisclosed amount of cash.

No one was injured in the incident, dispatchers said.

The Simsbury Police Department did not say whether there was a suspect or what the suspect looked like. Dispatchers said the department is not releasing any further information at this time.
