An attorney for a Simsbury man charged with attempted assault says his client did not do the things a young woman claims, according to a report in the Hartford Courant.
Recently Canton Police charged Colby Esthus, 22, of 358 Bushy Hill Road, Simsbury with criminal attempt to commit first-degree assault and first-degree robbery following an incident in a parking lot.
Esthus' attorney, however, says his client, a decorated veteran, recorded part of the incident and said the woman refused to leave his truck and fell out of the vehicle, the report states.
