Simsbury Police Investigating Thefts from Vehicles

Submitted release

The Simsbury Police Department is actively investigating thefts from vehicles in the Munnisunk Drive and the Fox Den Road areas.

The thefts occurred within the last two weeks. None of the vehicles were damaged and cash was the only item taken from within the unlocked vehicles. As a reminder, we suggest that everyone takes general precautions. For instance, do not leave valuables in your vehicles, lock your vehicles, use exterior lighting (both constant and motion sensitive) and call the police when you hear unusual noise or see unusual activity.

Officers from the Department can provide anyone with a crime prevention survey of your home or business. To request this service, contact Officer John Mimnaugh at (860) 658-3131.
