Simsbury to Receive More in State Aid

The state has released a database of how much money each town received this year and what's on the books for next year.

The Connecticut General Assembly has released a database detailing how much each town in the state receives from the state government. 

Simsbury received $6,300,741 this year and is approved to receive $6,378,459, or 1.2 percent more, next year, according to the database posted by the Hartford Courant. 

The report in the Hartford Courant says that the figure may include education funding.

According to another database posted on the Hartford Courant, Simsbury received $5,513,204 in education funds this year and is approved to receive $5,579,797, or 1.2 percent, next year.
