Statement: I am running as a candidate for re-election to the planning commission, as I would like to contribute to the implementation of the exciting progress made over the past few years with the finalization of the town Plan of Conservation & Development, the PAD regulations, and the Route 10 Corridor Study. These three documents define our town over the next 10, 20 and 50 years and I was privileged to serve during the many hours of study to bring them to fruition. I was raised that everyone should serve in some volunteer civic capacity  and "giving back" to a town that has been good to me is not only rewarding, but fun as well. I try to gain as much perspective on the issues by attending meetings other than just planning and rarely miss an economic development meeting. I feel a solid tax base from the proper Simsbury sources is vital to our town's future. I do my homework and look at issues in a completely bi-partisan fashion. I ask for your support.
