Simsbury Announces Reduced Active Duty Military Rates for Golf Season

Reduced rate for active duty military personnel will be available to residents and non-residents.

Submitted by the Town of Simsbury

At a meeting Monday evening, the Simsbury Board of Selectmen approved reduced rates at the Simsbury Farms Golf Course for active duty military service members.  For the upcoming golf season, active duty military personnel who present a valid Military ID will be eligible for individual green fees of $10 for a 9-hole round or $20 for an 18-hole round.

“The Town of Simsbury wanted to acknowledge the hard work and sacrifice of the men and women who serve our country,” said First Selectman Mary Glassman. “With many active duty military personnel beginning to come home after years serving abroad, we felt that offering this special rate is a great way to show our appreciation to these heroes.”
