Simsbury Parking Ban Lifted

All streets are reported to be clear and street parking is now permitted.

A parking ban that was issued late on Friday before a massive winter storm left the region crippled by dropping nearly 3 feet of snow in areas has been lifted.

The town of Simsbury gave residents notice Friday night that a parking ban for all streets would take effect at 7 a.m. on Saturday morning. The ban was put in place to aid municipal workers in the clean up effort.

The parking ban was lifted by town officials at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
