The town of Simsbury has a new face on the internet—when you can locate it, that is.
Last week the town switched over to a new website with new navigation interface, but some residents weren't able to connect to the new site due to a switch in the URL address, according to town officials.
Trouble with the Google indexing service will also lead folks to a site that is no longer there. The address, http://simsburyct.virtualtownhall.net, is no longer active. The new address for the town's website is http://www.simsbury-ct.gov/.
If your web browser still has a bookmark to the old site it will no longer work, according to a town official.
The new website still has the same features and information available on the former site including town departments, calendars, community alert information, and news and announcements.
