2-Hour Delay for Simsbury Public Schools
A winter storm is causing delays and closures across the state.
Simsbury Public Schools will have a 2-hour delayed opening on Tuesday after a winter storm blanketed the region in heavy, icy snow.
The National Weather Service winter storm warning remains in effect until 11 a.m. on Tuesday. Sleet and rain are expected to continue to fall as the storm winds down.
There is a chance of snow Tuesday night and the temperature will remain in the mid-30's throughout the day.
