Ignoring Forensic Evidence: A Talk by Author Dr. Jerry Labriola

In conjunction with the release of his latest mystery/suspense novel, Scent of Danger, author and crime analyst Dr. Jerry Labriola will discuss two high-profile criminal cases taken from books he coauthored with renowned forensic scientist, Dr. Henry Lee. In each case, the victim died from a gunshot wound into the mouth. One case was ruled a murder, the other, a suicide. But Dr. Labriola will offer forensic evidence refuting the findings of both juries. After the presentation, Dr. Labriola will sign copies of his new book. About the author: After his first exposure to forensic pathology while serving in the U.S. Navy, Dr. Labriola practiced medicine for 35 years and was Assistant Professor at UConn Medical School. A Yale graduate and former Chief of Staff at a major teaching hospital, he also served as a state senator. He is the author of 7 mystery novels and has co-authored 4 books with Dr. Henry Lee.
