Israel - Past & Present

As a follow up to Dr. Donna Divine’s presentation in September about the current state of Israel and the Middle East, Dr. Avinoam Patt, Assistant Director of the Maurice Greenberg Center for Judaic Studies at the University of Hartford, will present information from his book Finding Home and Homeland: Jewish Youths and Zionism in the Aftermath of the Holocaust about Jewish displaced persons after the Holocaust and how Zionism led many young people to become pioneers in Israel.  Please RSVP to Elana MacGilpin at 860-677-1235 or emacgilpin@jewishhartford.org.
