Simsbury Schools to Conduct Preschool, Kindergarten Census

Each year Simsbury Public Schools conducts a census of all children residing in Simsbury who are preschool age.  Children are eligible for kindergarten in 2013/14 if they were born on or before January 1, 2009.  Based on this census survey, the district will send kindergarten registration information in January to families with an age-eligible child who is not yet attending kindergarten.

If a preschool age child or children reside in your home, your assistance in completing this brief survey by December 31, 2012 would be greatly appreciated.  Please do not enter information in the census for children who are above the preschool level and are already attending school in any school system.  You will find the census questionnaire at http://www.simsbury.k12.ct.us/page.cfm?p=2563, or go to www.simsbury.k12.ct.us and select “Preschool Census” from the Community Connection section on the home page.  If you do not have access to a computer, you may phone your information in to Susan Caccamo, Enrollment Coordinator, at 860-651-3361.
