Troop 76's Winter Wilderness Survival Campout
Last weekend, while most of the state hunkered down to wait out the snowstorm, Simsbury Boy Scout Troop 76 went camping! Cole planned the day's activities, including a hike through American Legion State Forest, sledding, and learning to cook a fresh goose. In spite of temperatures in the teens, everyone slept warm in the shelters they built.
Thanks to Danny for stepping in as Senior Patrol Leader for the weekend, Mr. Hsu for his excellent adult cooking, and Mr. Sullivan for supporting the scout's planning.
