Supporting a Walkable and Bike-able Community

This week, Latimer Lane School again participated in Bike Walk to School Day, and hundreds of young cyclists came along for the ride! Among the participants were Latimer mom and Selectman Shannon Knall, who was joined by fellow Selectman Lisa Heavner, State Representative John Hampton, Board of Education Chairman Lydia Tedone, First Selectman Mary Glassman, and other Latimer parents and friends.

Simsbury  was named Connecticut's first Bicycle Friendly Community by the League of American Bicyclists. Initiatives like Bike Walk to School Day strengthen our healthy community and help keep our environment clean.
