This is a nationwide initiative that is intended to provide a means to make golf more enjoyable for families, regardless of age and ability. Because the forward tees on most golf courses are approximately 2500 yard for nine holes, they are too long for kids and adult beginners, adding a new teeing area family members are able to enjoy their rounds. The tee location are set up around 1300 yards for 9 and 2600 for 18.
The Family Course Program provides the following benefits:
