APRIL 27: With a squad that has been struggling this season, Windsor managed to make the first strike in Friday afternoon's game against Simsbury. The Windsor Warriors took an early 2-0 lead, but the Trojans quickly erased the deficit and never looked back.
With the entire Simsbury roster contributing to the effort, as well as some JV players who joined in on the action, the Trojans were a dominant force. Back-up goalies junior Eric Glaude and senior Andrew Calabro did their part to keep the Windsor scorers at bay, tallying three saves each in their relief of starting goalie Tim Maher.
Final score: Simsbury 19, Windsor 7
The next game for Simsbury is at home on Tuesday, April 30, versus Conard. Game time is 5:30PM.
