Simsbury, Conn.  – Once again the unlikely marriage of bicycles and beer will be celebrated by area cyclists and craft beer fanatics during the latest installment of the “Bikes & Beers” event series this Sunday, Oct 9, 2011 at Plan B in Simsbury, Conn.

Participants will take part in an organized bicycle ride lead by the cycling pros from Pedal Power of Vernon.  The riders will have two routes to choose from, breaking them up into skill groups to allow riders at all levels of experience to enjoy themselves.

The ride will start and finish at Plan B, where once the cyclists will enjoy a full spread of gourmet food prepared by Plan B’s chefs, along with some excellent beer from Conn. and from across the nation.  The New England Brewing Co. hailed as the official beer of the “Bikes & Beers” series will feature some of their locally crafted beer on cask while live acoustic music will set the tone for a fun after ride party.
