Community Health Resources’ Benefit Golf and Tennis Tournament

CHR’s Benefit Golf and Tennis Tournament is quickly approaching, and registration is now open. The highly anticipated event will take place on Monday, May 23, 2011, at Hop Meadow Country Club in Simsbury. Proceeds will benefit the many programs and services provided by CHR, a non-profit behavioral health system of care serving children, adults and families who live and work in central and eastern Connecticut.

Registration for the Tournament will begin at 11 a.m. The 18-hole golf tournament will begin with a shotgun start at 12:30 p.m. and will feature an exciting Hole-in-One Contest sponsored by Carter Chevrolet/Mazda of Manchester. The tennis round robin doubles tournament will begin shortly thereafter at 1 p.m.

The cost to participate is $175 per golfer, including carts, and $75 per tennis player. Registered participants will enjoy an evening dinner and auction, beginning at 6 p.m. Those who do not wish to golf or play tennis but would like to join in the festivities are welcome to attend the dinner and auction at a cost of $45 per person.
