Connecticut Mid-Amateur Golf Championship at Hop Meadow Country Club

Hop Meadow Country Club will host the Connecticut Mid-Amateur Golf Championship on August 27th and August 28th.  This is one of Connecticut's major golf championships administered by the Connecticut State Golf Association.  It is open to Connecticut Amateur golfers holding an active USGA handicap index not exceeding 6.4 that have reached their 25th birthday as of August 27, 2012.  Approximately 120 players will compete on Monday the 27th to make the cut of approximately 36 players plus ties who compete for the 36 hold championship on Tuesday, August 28th.  Fellow Hop Meadow Members Mark Murnane, Jaime Bosworth and HMCC 2012 Club Champion, Dr. Jeffrey Kaye have all qualified to play in this event.

Prizes will be awarded at a reception following the completion of the 36 hold final round on Tuesday.  The CSGA and Hop Meadow Country Club encourage the public to come out to see this great competition for the Connecticut Mid-Amateur Golf Championship.
